In Washington D.C., individuals seeking to apply for a concealed carry permit must complete a training course that includes a minimum of 16 hours of instruction. This training must cover various topics, including firearm safety, handling, and the legal aspects of firearm use.
Our Course Content
Fire Arm Safety and Handling
This section covers essential topics including safe handling practices, firearm parts and operation, loading and unloading procedures, storage and maintenance guidelines, and the critical mindset for responsible firearm ownership.
Marksmanship Fundamentals
Our training emphasizes proper grip, stance, and aiming techniques, along with sight alignment and sight picture, trigger control and follow-through, and shooting from various distances and positions.
Live Fire Range Training
Participants will engage in the practical application of safety rules, perform shooting drills to enhance their marksmanship skills, receive individualized coaching and feedback from certified instructors, and take part in scenario-based exercises designed to simulate real-world situations.
Certification Requirement
The candidate successfully completed the written exam, demonstrated safe firearm handling skills, and achieved the specified proficiency standards on the shooting range.
Legal Aspects of Concealed Carry
When navigating the complexities of firearms regulations, it is essential to understand applicable federal, state, and local laws, the justifiable use of force, the designated areas for carrying weapons, and the appropriate ways to interact with law enforcement.

Location: Accokeek or White Plains, Maryland
Meets all state requirements in 39 states including Utah, Maryland and Virginia.

-Targets For Practice Range
-Range Time
Materials Required:
-Participants may bring their firearm on Range Day
-Ammunition for the range (purchasable at range)
-Eyes and Ear protection (rentable at range)

Preparing for Class
-Range ammunition is not included in the course price and must be purchased separately.​
-Both days of the course are mandatory for certification.
-Day one will be all classroom instruction.
-Day two will consist mostly of range time.
-Hours may vary due to range capacity and class size.
-Lunch will not be provided.
-NO LIVE AMMUNITION IN THE CLASSROOM!!!
